I found out this weekend that an individual is trying to register the CC41 mark as a registered trade mark.
Until now it had always been "Free to use", a bit like the Union Jack.
Now one individual is trying to cash in on it.
Aero could sucessfully oppose the registration of the CC41 mark under the "Previous Use" law, we've been using it for decades but we don't feel it should be owned by anyone, even ourselves :>) If we opposed it then it would be awarded to us. (Some may recall Highwayman...
