New to our lineup this time is the last contract Type A-2 ordered by the US Army during WWII. This is the 1761 contract by Bronco MFG CO. of NY, NY. This contract is thought to have been for 25,000 units to replace stocks in the Army's inventory after losses during the first two years of the war. Considered to have perhaps been limited to sizes 36 to 40 by many experts and we really have no way of proving that, but it does stand to reason since, as of this writing no extant examples...
