as I hi-jacked a thread over at the "General discussion" section and posted pitures of my watch in the "What jacket are you wearing today?" thread, I thought it might be cool to start a separate thread for watches here.
I have been interested in mechanical watches for decades now and like to combine them with my flight jackets or the other vintage-inspired clothing I wear.

I've not been on here for a while as I;ve managed to get out of the Jacket bug.
So I've decided to sell a few off and I've put an ELC Air Comfort and BR M-422 A on ebay,
I;m wondering where is good place to boxes for posting jackets from - any ideas please .
Also what is a fair price for the BR M422A in good condition ?

Want to ask your shared opinions on something. Came across a B-15 on ebay that claims to be a 'First Issue Rare Midnight Blue'.

To me this looks a little suspect, the inner pockets and collar made in green, changed knits, the standard contract label, missing the poppers on the outer pockets etc, but I'm certainly no expert. Could this have been a standard B-15 and...

I scored a great set of HB-7 Headphones fitted with ANB-H-1 receivers and the red PL-354 bail out plug. (HS-33?) and it came with a black JK-26 extension plug.
The receivers are Made by SHURE Brothers, Chicago, USA
they are in great shape. the leather is still soft and plyable. they came with one original MC-162-A rubber ear pad that is also soft and plyable. too bad the other was missing but I got a post war Japan made replacement of the same MC-162-A spec that match perfectly to the...

My tribute jacket to those who flew the “hump” from India to China during WWII is mostly complete. 3 different artists contributed to making this jacket possible. One of my favorite aspects is the name tag in both English and Chinese by Jim Buchanan. I'm on a budget of $200 and am looking for a brown leather A2 jacket. I'm wanting the best bang for my buck repro, or a vintage in good condition. Also in the vintage/WW2 style, nothing modern like US Wings. Any help is appreciated.

Hey Y'all!
I bought a Motorcycle jacket on craigslist tonight. cash exchanged in the dark, looked/felt solid enough, price was right. upon further inspection getting home, and doing some digging, I'm really not sure what I'm looking at here. Any help identifying would be greatly appreciated. Missing the Liner and the Belt, but the wool collar is still intact. I'm guessing its some sort of Schott James Dean Prototype, maybe 60's-70's?

Anyone have any opinions of A-2 jackets made by, "Flight Apparel Industries Inc." ?
Seems they went out of business in the late 80s.
I'm thinking about buying one...not this one, it's too big, I just wanted to show the pics of one.

I need to replace the zipper puller on my ELC Star as the repro one on it has fallen apart. I could call ELC snd see if they'd send me one along with a new c clip stopper, though I'm not sure if they will or not. I was going to send it to them, but after reading the replies to my earlier thread a few months back I think it's a job I can do myself. Is there another supplier of a quality Talon repro puller I could try? Of course I could get a nice original one from MASH japan and if I'm going...

I noticed what is said to be and certainly looks like a WW2 D1 on eBay UK. It's got some weird turning fittings for closing it that look as if they came off a heavy canvas waggon cover of some sort...
